Cooling tower engineering
New builds & installation
Specialist support from design and planning through to installation.
Define the duty. Plan the installation.
A new cooling tower needs to fit the process it serves and the site around it. The required thermal duty is only part of the brief: available space, access, noise considerations, pipework and maintenance arrangements also shape the project.
ENG-TECH provides design, supply, installation, supervision and management support for packaged towers and larger mechanical-draft installations. Our involvement can be defined around the stage your project has reached.

Scope of work
Support where it is needed.
01
Technical project brief
Establish the intended duty, equipment arrangement and interfaces with your existing plant.
02
Replacement & installation
Plan the removal or replacement of existing equipment and the sequence for installation within site constraints.
03
Ongoing support
Consider access, servicing and replacement components from the outset, alongside the installation itself.
The interfaces deserve as much attention as the tower.
Water distribution, mechanical equipment and the physical arrangement of the installation need to be coordinated. Existing pipework and structures, lifting routes and any planned shutdown affect the delivery sequence. Scope development should also establish which drawings, operating information and handover documents are required, and where responsibilities sit between project participants.

New builds & installation information
Read the original ENG-TECH information sheet. We will confirm the specification and suitability for your equipment.
Planning your project
Questions worth asking.
A clearer brief helps us identify a practical next step.
Can you help before a final specification is available?
Yes. An initial discussion can identify the information needed to develop the brief and the areas that require further assessment.
Can you replace an existing installation?
Replacement planning can include the existing equipment, access and the proposed installation sequence. Tell us about continuity of operation and shutdown constraints.
What information is provided at handover?
Operating manuals, as-built information and project documentation can be included in the agreed scope. The exact deliverables should be defined during project planning.
